ملخص
يدرس هذا البحث بعض الظواهر الثقافية الحاضرة التي تركت بصمتها في عالم الاغتراب، ويقارب التحولات الثقافية التاريخية التي مثلتها شخصيات اشتهرت في بلاد الاغتراب بنتاجها وحضورها ودورها الفاعل في المجتمع المضيف. ونتتبع التأثير الذي تركه هذا الوجود في المجتمعات الغريبة، وننظر في مدى اندماجها فيها، ونسبة تحوله الى نوع من حضور داعم للبنان وقضاياه، انعكس نجاحًا في مختلف الميادين عكست هوية لبنان التاريخية الثرية التي تسهم في إغناء التراث العالمي.

Immigration is noted as a part of the human experience throughout history and is a source of innovation and continuous development in the globalization era. The number of Lebanese immigrants is considered the highest average in the Middle East. This immigration extended since the end of the 19th century till nowadays, and was caused by different factors such as hunger after world war, Palestinian case in mid twentieth century, civil war, and Israeli aggressions. However, this immigration did not cause cultural separation from homeland but instead induced affinities for Arabic nationalism along with humanitarian globalization and exchange of knowledge. This article aims to discuss that, despite the negative effects of immigration, Lebanese innovative and cultural presence in the diaspora has been manifested in different fields such as in literature, industry, trade and art and that it constituted a Lebanese message to the whole world. The article presents in details how Lebanese identity in diaspora has become a mirror for the cultural strength, the historical heritage and the impetus of Lebanese people who left their homeland to live in distant overseas countries.
