Résumé de carrière

Yousra SABRA is an associate Professor of English linguistics at the Lebanese University, where she also supervises MA theses. She is also an educational counselor, educational coach and an ICTE trainer at the Ministry of Education MEHE. On the international level, Dr. SABRA is a qualified professor of linguistics according to the French government, CNU. She is also a MEPLI fellow at Harvard graduate School of Education, Boston.

Dr. SABRA earned her PhD from Lebanese University and Toulon University, France in 2013 and specialized in applied and contrastive linguistics in three languages: English, Arabic and French. She attained her Post-Doc from Toulon University in 2014, in which she presented an outline of the history of nominal determination in grammars of Western Europe and the Arab grammars.

As to research, Dr. SABRA is an active researcher in the field of contrastive and applied linguistics. She has several publications in these areas in English and French published online. She is a co-author of the educational series, “Central Themes” (2017-2018), high school level, World Heritage Publishers. She continuously participates at national and international conferences. She is also member of the reading committee of the international journal “Modèles Linguistiques” in addition to membership in other educational organizations (AIPL, BABEL and CRESH).
